These gouache paintings are from my travels through California.

I entered from the redwoods of the northern coast, making my way to Yosemite. I traveled through Kern canyon to Bakersfield, eventually sitting in the sand along the Santa Monica Pier.

This print is how the paintings appear in my travel sketchbook. Side-by-side studies of my surroundings.
